Ixtlahuacán, Jalisco — An Emergency 911 call to local authorities revealed 19 black plastic bags containing human body parts in the municipality of Ixtlahuacán in the state of Jalisco.
After receiving the call, police arrived only to confirm the presence of the bags and cordon the area until forensic officials arrived.
So far, the Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office has not issued any information on the case since officials continue with the rescue work of the bags.
The finding of the black bags has occurred less than a week after the bodies of seven people were found murdered in the municipality of San Diego de Alejandría in the region of Los Altos de Jalisco.
Despite findings, Governor Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, says that the rate of homicides in the state has not increased to a worrisome degree and says that the violence has been contained.
