El Chapo inspired clothing line set to hit internet

Mexico City, Mexico — A new clothing line inspired by Mexican drug lord El Chapo, is reportedly set to hit the online market.

The clothing brand, which is called El Chapo 701, has been created by Alejandrina Gisselle Guzmán who claims to be the daughter of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán.

“Brave, charismatic of honor and respect and always ready to face any challenge,” are some of the words used on the brand’s website to describe the ex-leader of the Sinaloa Cartel to describe the inspiration behind the line.

The brand will include shirts, belts, footwear, hats and even swimwear for both men and women, as well as jewelry, leather goods and liquors.

The number 701 came from when in 2009, followers of the drug lord used the label 701 or empire701 after Guzman was named the 701 richest person in Forbes magazine. The clothing line and other items are said to be set for online sale in the near future.

El Chapo is currently waiting to receive a jury’s verdict in New York where he faces charges for drug trafficking.
