Mexico City, Mexico — Two elderly people died in a neighborhood of Mexico City after the elevator they were riding in fell.
On Thursday afternoon, two elderly people lost their lives with one more injured after the elevator in a three-story house located in the Guerrero neighborhood of Mexico City collapsed.
The events occurred around 4:00 p.m. According to reports, the three people entered the elevator that minutes later, fell into the void from a height of around 12 meters.
Firemen, Civil Protection and members of the Secretariat of Public Security arrived at the house. The injured woman was taken to the Rubén Leñero hospital, while the other two elevator occupants were declared deceased. The two older adults are reported to have died instantly.
