Cósala, Sinaloa — Police say after a chase, they have arrested two people, one of which is said to be the ex-brother in law of drug lord El Chapo.
Two men were arrested in the municipality of Cósala who were seen driving a vehicle reported as stolen. When they noticed police, the driver began a car chase with police that ended in the stolen vehicle crashing into a fence.
Police report finding four firearms, communication radios and tactical vests on board the vehicle. According to data from authorities, one of the two detainees was identified as Fabián, an ex-brother-in-law of Joaquín Guzmán Loera who is better known as El Chapo Guzmán.
The two detainees were identified as Bryant N and Fabian N, who were made available to the subdelegation of the Attorney General’s Office in Mazatlan.
