Monterrery — A horse that was reported kidnapped in Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon last week has been found safe in Monterrery.
The presumed owner of the horse reported it abducted Tuesday morning after he and another man had a disagreement.
Authorities received a call that same day by a motorist who claimed a person, who was covered with a blanket, was being abducted in the back seat of a white sports car. When police finally caught up with the sports car, they found the abducted horse.
Two men, aged 29 and 23, were tracked down by police driving the car with the horse in the back seat. The white Camaro was detained at Ruiz Cortines Avenue and Bonifacio Salinas Avenue in Colonia Fraccionamiento la Luz that was being driven by the 29-year-old man.
The horse was transferred from the municipality of Juárez to a veterinary clinic. Civil Protection arrived along with animal control to determine what will be done with the horse while they prove the actual owner.
