Mazatlan, Sinaloa — As part of the reordering of the Del Mar Avenue area and to offer an excellent image of the Mazatlan port, the municipal administration is analyzing the possibility of building a tourist market in this area, said Joel Bouciéguez Lizárraga.
The City Council secretary said that all the street vendors would be relocated to the area where the Tourist Market would be built, which would be another attraction for visitors.
He commented that they are already preparing the project with the personnel of the Directorate of Public Works, which will be reviewed by the Tourism Secretariat of the state since the work should be a modern image and with international standards, for which it does not know the investment to be made. moment and where the resources will come from.
“The possibility of building a Tourist Market is analyzed so that it can concentrate on everyone, but with a modern concept and in line with the development and image dictated by the Tourism Secretariat of international standards,” he said.
Bouciéguez Lizárraga added that they are already in negotiations with private individuals on the land where the Tourist Market project is being considered, so that next year the work will begin.
