Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos makes Spacey claims

Mexico City, Mexico — Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos had added his name to the growing list of those who claim to have been seduced or sexually harassed by Hollywood actor, Kevin Spacey.

Cavazos says he experienced “seduction” methods of Spacey while working in London while the two-time Oscar winner was the artistic director at the Old Vic between 2004 and 2015.

Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos, who acted in several plays at the theatre, claims Spacey “routinely preyed” on young male actors.

“There are many of us who have a Kevin Spacey story. It seems that it only took a male under 30 to make Mr. Spacey feel free to touch us. It was so common that it even became a local joke (in very bad taste),” wrote the actor and director.

Media Rights Capital and Netflix have decided to indefinitely suspend the filming of the last season of the series House of Cards , after the scandal surrounding Kevin Spacey.

Cavazos said he decided to narrate his testimony as he wants to give voice to all the stories that circulated for years on the London theater circuit, now that Rapp accused Spacey of harassing him at a party in 1986, when Spacey was 26 and he was 14.

“I do not remember how many people told me the same story: Spacey invited them to meet with him to ‘talk about their careers’. When they arrived at the theater, the man had prepared a picnic with champagne on the stage, beautifully lit. Each story varied with how far the picnic went, but the technique was the same. ”

Cavazos participated in the staging of The 24 Hour Plays, with a small role and with his alternative name, Robert Carragher, when the work was mounted in the famous hall, in 2008.

“More common was that the man was in the bar of his theater, squeezing whoever caught his attention. That’s how it happened to me the second time. I never left, but I know of some who were afraid to put a stop to it, “added the co-director and founder with Ana González Bello de La Chinchilla, a theater company.

“I do not doubt there were others like him, but none so public and brazen. In the middle this behavior was reproached for its total lack of professionalism, without even mentioning the questionable morality,” he concluded.

“Media Rights Capital, producer of the series, and Netflix have decided to suspend the production of the sixth season of House of Cards until further notice,” said both companies in a statement, adding they need time “to review the current situation and address any concerns of the distribution and the team.”
