Mexico cartel leader has 30 million bounty on head

Michoacán, Mexico — In Mexico cartel news, the Attorney General of the Republic (PGR) has announced the increased reward from two million peso to 30 million for information leading to the capture of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias El Mencho.

In accordance with the Specific Agreement, the PGR authorized the reward for the location or arrest Rubén Oseguera Cervantes who also goes by the names of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, Nemesio Oseguera Ramos. He also uses the alias El Mencho, El Gallero and El Señor de los Gallos.

Police say El Mencho is the leader of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), an organization with criminal operations in the states of Jalisco and Michoacán.

The Office of the Attorney General said that on February 11, 2018, the Special Unit for the Investigation of Crimes in the Matter of Kidnapping (UEIDMS) under the Deputy Attorney General’s Office for the Investigation of Organized Crime (SEIDO), initiated an investigation against Oseguera Cervantes for crimes of delinquency. organized, kidnapping and homicide.

Although it is not the highest reward offered by the PGR, which was 60 million peso for Joaquín El Chapo Guzmán Loaera, Oseguera Cervantes is the most wanted capo from Michoacán by the Mexican authorities.
