Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — The Office of the Attorney General of the State announced that through the collaboration agreement that exists between the Procurator Offices and the Attorney Generals of the country, state ministerial agents managed the arrest of Álvaro N., 60 years old, who had an arrest warrant for the crime of kidnapping in Mexico City.
The arrest took place at dawn on December 9, when investigating agents were conducting prevention and surveillance tours on Avenida Luis Donaldo Colosio in the city’s center. They pulled over a black vehicle for random inspection when they discovered the driver had a warrant for his arrest.
Mr. N was wanted for the crime of kidnapping in Mexico City. He was transferred to the premises of the General State Prosecutor’s Office in the municipality of Playa del Carmen where he waited until agents from Mexico City arrived to transfer him.
