Owners of adult hotel Temptation Cancun expanding to include cruise

Mazatlan, Sinola — After injecting $60 million USD in the renovation of the Temptation Hotel in Cancun, the Original Group announces new investments.

The company says that over the next two years, they will invest in two new hotels as well as a cruise for adults to continue their international expansion.

Mario Cruz García, the group’s concept manager, pointed out that the adult entertainment and accommodation sector has seen a 169 percent increase in the last three years, which benefits them as pioneers of the concept in Quintana Roo.

Regarding investments, he said there will be the opening of two hotels in Punta Cana, one of the Temptation brand with 400 rooms, and one of the Desire brand with 90 rooms. He says the company anticipates the hotels will be ready by 2019.

Cruz García also said that by February 2020, they will launch an adult-only Temptation cruise brand, which will depart from Tampa, Florida. The cruise will go through Georgetown in the Cayman Islands and will reach Cozumel.

On a national level, he said that there are currently 750 exclusive properties catering to the adult-only segment and that Mexico ranks fourth worldwide.

Cruz García says in his opinion, one reason for the great success is the quality of service and support of the sector, along with strict privacy policies in place. He says that the company does not allow the use of cameras or telephones on site, increasing discretion and security for those who arrive from around the world to enjoy an adult-only vacation.
