Mexico City, Mexico — The upcoming government says that as of December 1, a part of Los Pinos will be open to the public.
Los Pinos, which is the official residence of the president of Mexico, will open a portion of the building for public viewing. One of the areas they say will definitely be open is Casa Miguel Alemán, a property that was built between 1947 to 1951.
Alejandra Frausto, the next Secretary of Culture, reported the official decision to offer part of the property of Los Pinos for public visits. He said that his team is still analyzing other areas of the property to decide which parts Andrés Manuel López Obrador will use once he assumes the presidency position in December.
“We’re going to make it known in a short time, because everyone has an expectation,” he explained.
