Police leave with drugs, guns after searching Los Cabos home

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur — Members of the Attorney General’s Office of the state say they have confiscated weapons and drugs after the inspection of a private home.

In an operation carried out in San José del Cabo, police say they seized three guns and 250 packages of drugs ready for sale. The inspection was made after police were issued a search warrant for the home from a previous investigation.

They say once they were inside the home, they found 244 packages of marijuana and 11 bags of crystal, all packaged and ready for street sale. They also left with three guns and cartridges.

While details about anyone inside the home being arrested was not detailed, police did say that the items removed from the home were handed over to the agency of the federal public ministry.
