Rain and wind expected for Chiapas to Guerrero

Mexico City, Mexico — Rain, high winds are expected for the Pacific region of Mexico over the next few days as an anti-cyclonic air mass circulates over the Gulf of Mexico.

An anticyclonic circulation over the Gulf of Mexico will propitiate a dry and stable environment, with a notable decrease in rain potential in most of the country.

However, according to the news bulletin of the National Meteorological Service (SMN), regions from the west and center of the country will experience the entrance of moisture from the Pacific Ocean which will continue to be favorable for the development of rain.

Rain and showers are expected with strong point storms of 25 to 50 millimeters in Guerrero, Oaxaca and Chiapas.
