Tony Roma’s opens restaurant in Veracruz, sixth in Mexico

Boca del Rio, Veracruz — Romacorp, the owner of the casual food restaurant franchise Tony Roma’s, announced the opening of its sixth restaurant in Mexico with Grupo Gastronómico Awa, a regional business conglomerate in Veracruz.

The restaurant is located in the area of Boca del Rio on Boulevard Adolfo Ruiz Cortines and has space for 120 people, as well as two private rooms for 20 people each, said Romacorp in a statement.

“We are delighted to be able to open our first Tony Roma’s in the beautiful city of Boca del Rio,” said John Brisco, president of Global Franchise of Romacorp, in the statement.

“We are ready to grow together with this franchisee through the creation of a unique and enjoyable experience for our guests.”

In addition to Veracruz, Tony Roma’s has franchises in Mexico City, Querétaro, Mérida, San Luis Potosí and Torreón.
