Mexico City, Mexico — In reference to the Russian scandal and the US election of Donald Trump, Vincent Fox tweeted out the words to a song from the infamous Freddy Krueger movie.
“One, two, Robert Mueller is coming for you, three, four, better than tweeting pairs, five, six, grab a crucifix …”
Fox, the ex-president of Mexico, mocked the American president when comparing the investigation of the Russian scandal that continues to haunt the leader of the United States.
Much like Trump, Fox is a notorious Twitter user and tweeted the words to the song after, in a tweet of his own, Trump spoke of “witch hunts” in reference to the investigation of special prosecutor Robert Mueller on the alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election in the United States.
Fox wrote, “One, two, Robert Mueller is coming for you, three, four, better than tweeting pairs, five, six, grab a crucifix, seven, eight, you’re going to stay up late, nine, ten, you will not sleep never,” altering the movie version.
Earlier in May, Fox tweeted that the fact that Trump is being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize “is like when Dumbledore took Harry’s name out of the goblet of fire,” referring to the Harry Potter movie in which the protagonist wins a raffle to participate in games without knowing who put his name on the ballot.
