Mérida, Yucatán — A woman trying to board a bus was hit my a motorcycle in downtown Merida Tuesday.
At 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, a woman who was trying to board a public bus was hit by a motorcyclist who was unable to stop in time. Reports say the woman hailed the bus, who stopped for her, however, an oncoming motorcycle did not.
The accident was recorded at 52nd street between 51 and 53 of downtown Mérida. An ambulance arrived to transport the injured to hospitals. The woman was reported to suffer only minor injuries, however, the driver of the motorcycle suffered a fractured leg.
